Antenna simulation in the browser
How does my antenna radiate? The simulation calculates radiation pattern, gain and input impedance of common antenna types and shows how height, length and element spacing change the result.

What the page does
- Dipole, ground plane, Yagi and more
- Radiation pattern horizontal and vertical
- Gain and near field
- Impedance and SWR across frequency
- Configurator and terrain view
Background
A Yagi focuses radiation because reflector and directors with suitable spacing and length reinforce the fields forward and cancel them to the rear. More directors increase gain, but with diminishing returns. The simulation makes these relationships visible before you cut any aluminium.
In practice
How it works: choose the antenna type, enter frequency and dimensions and look at the result. Change a value, such as reflector spacing, and pattern and figures update immediately. That lets you try in minutes what would take hours on the roof. The dimensions found serve as a starting point for building and later tuning.
Frequently asked questions
Does the simulation replace a measurement?
No. It shows tendencies and orders of magnitude; the finished antenna is tuned with an SWR meter or antenna analyser.
Do I need to install anything?
No, the simulation runs entirely in the browser.
